Bennie C. Brown 75, of 67 Frank St. died Monday (November 11) in UMASS Memorial Medical Center- Lake Ave. Campus after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 22 years, Netheir (Rivers) Brown, a son, Michael Brown of New York City, NY, two sisters Margaret L. Mosley of Norwalk, CT and Effie Stokes of Elizabeth, NJ, a aunt, Louise Cuffie of Connecticut, four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Hartsville, SC, son of Ralph and Travis (Graham) Brown.Served in the U.S. Army.
He worked for Astra Pharmaceuticals for many years retiring several years ago. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and its Deacon’s Board.
The Funeral Service will be held Friday (November 15) at 11 a.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church 717 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A Calling Hour will be held Friday (November 15) from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
