Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Ita J. (Call) Currier, 81, of 100 Essex Avenue died early Tuesday morning, April 24, 2007 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Russell A. Currier, who died in July of 1997.
Born in Rockport on December 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ethel T. (Parsons) Call. She had attended Rockport public schools.
She is survived by her son, Russell A. Currier, Jr., a brother and two sisters-in-law, Charles M. and Shirley A. Call of Gloucester and Patricia Call of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John I. and Beulah Call, Wm. Russell and Jean Call and Ronald R. Call.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be held privately in the Seaside Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 260 Main St., Gloucester, MA 01930. Arrangements are under the direction of the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester.
