Loving wife for 55 years to the late Joseph L. Desmond. Loving mother of Daniel J. of Chatham, Kathleen S. Halpin of Wollaston, Richard J. of Randolph, John F. of Quincy, Maureen Cronin of Manchester, N.H., Nancy M. Eastman of Marshfield, Paul M. Desmond of Quincy and the late Patricia A. Hennessy. Sister of William and James Connolly, both of Randolph, Robert Connolly of Sandwich and the late Marion Price and Jack Connolly. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 10:15 AM.
Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Wollaston at 11:15 AM.
Visiting ours Monday from 4-8 PM.
Burial in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury .

Mrs Desmond's first love was to her family. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, St. Ann's Mariann's, and an avid bingo player. Graduating from Jeremiah E. Burke High School,Dorchester, She worked at New England Telephone and at Schuster Lab before her marriage of fifty five years.
