Obituary

Palacios, Texas – William P. Broderick, 83, died March 23, 2007 at the family residence.
A longtime resident on Hampshire Road in Methuen and Andover, Ma.
Mr. Broderick was born in Lawrence and was a graduate of Punchard High School in Andover class of “1941” and in “1952” he graduated from Boston University where he received a bachelor of arts degree.

For 25 years Mr. Broderick was Sales Manager with 3M based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
During World War II he served his country in the United States Coast Guard and upon being honorably discharged he received the rank of Boatswain’s Mate Second Class.
While living in this area William belonged to the Arnold Greenwood Post # 8349 (VFW) in Methuen.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Boisvert) Broderick, daughter Gayle Ayers of Austin, Texas, a son Stephen, currently residing in Shanghai China, 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly Broderick and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, and military funeral will take place on Monday morning April 30, 2007 at 11 o’clock in Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen with burial to follow.
