Obituary

Nathan Arnold Mason, 64, of Lenox died Friday, April 27, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Lamar Harris, Rev. Gary James and Rev. Wayne Simpson will officiate with burial to follow in Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. Pallbearers will be Melvin Rowan, Chad Sumner, Billy Godwin, Murray Fender, John Dale Pharr and Paul Joiner. Grady Thompson, Laran Wilkerson, Jimmy Jones, Ray Gene Sumner, Everett James, Billy Green, Johnny Wade, Fred Barnes, Bobby Register, Johnny Davis, John Davis, and the Deacons of Lenox Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Mason was born on November 27, 1942 in Berrien County and was the son of Raymond Mason and Jeanette Bentley Mason, both deceased. He was manager of South Central Georgia Gin Warehouse in Nashville and a member of Lenox Baptist Church.

Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Sandra G. Rentz Mason of Lenox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Debbie Pipkin of Moultrie, and Shawn and Mary Pipkin of Moultrie; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Wayne Simpson of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Brenda and Mac McFadden of Lenox; and four grandchildren, Brandon Pipkin of Moultrie, Ryan Pipkin of Moultrie, Reid Pipkin of Moultrie, and Nathan McFadden of Lenox.
