Edwin T. Brennan, 76, of Morrison Road, Windham, NH died Wednesday November 13, 2002 at the Integrated Health Services of Derry following a lengthy illness. He was born in Staten Island, NY on March 28, 1926, a son of the late James A. and Emma (Fischer) Brennan. He was a resident of Windham since 1986, formerly living in Lowell, MA and Brooklyn, NY. He was a veteran of the US Marines serving during World War II. He was a graduate of Rutgers University. He was employed as an electrical engineer for Moran Tugboats in New York. He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Derry. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred M. (Pitts) Brennan in 1999.
He is survived by his three sons, Kevin M. Brennan, Windham, John E. Brennan, Preston, CT, James P. Brennan, Rhode Island, and several grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH on Friday November 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 8PM. Funeral services will begin at 8pm following the calling hours. Following cremation, graveside services will be held Monday November 18th at 9:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115 or to the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave., 5th floor, Boston, MA 02116 in memory of Edwin and Mildred Brennan.
