Sartorelli, Edith L. (Markiewicz)- Of Chelsea, April 26th. Devoted wife for 62 years to the late William A. Sartorelli, Sr. Devoted mother of Linda M. Sartorelli of Biddeford, Maine, William A. Sartorelli, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Mendon, Richard W. Sartorelli and his wife Nancy of Chelmsford and David W. Sartorelli and his wife Dee of Wadsworth, Ohio. Sister of the late Stephanie Mukhitarian and Henrietta Guzzi. Cherished grandmother of Bryan, Aaron, Jill, Jonathan and Jeffrey. Close friend of Helen DeFeo. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday morning, April 30th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2-6 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A graduate of Chelsea High School and a life-long active member of the Class of ‘39 Reunion Committee. Pre-war secretary in the garment industry. Wartime employee in the War Bond Office of the U.S. Army and swimming instructor for many years at the Chelsea YMCA. Served as a substitute teacher in the Chelsea schools and devotedly assisted her husband in teaching line dancing. A member of the Chelsea Senior Center.

Edith, at 85 years, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess hospital in Boston after a short illness.
