Raymond F. Flagg, 80, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at home. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Virginia (Gilbert) Flagg; two sons, Raymond Flagg and his wife, Mary Anne, and Joseph Flagg; a daughter, Heidi Allen and her husband, Robert—all of Worcester; a sister, Helen Lapan of Worcester; a brother, Richard Flagg of NJ; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A son, John Flagg, died in 1987.
He was born in Worcester, son of Frank E. and Alice L. (Gero) Flagg. He retired from Sweet Life/New England Grocers after 25 years of service. Ray was a member of Teamsters Local 170. He also enjoyed bowling with his boys on Sunday mornings and going to his favorite donut shop every morning.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, 10:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
