Francisco DeAndrade, 86, died at the Vernon Hall Nursing Home in Cambridge on Tuesday, April 24 after a lengthy illness. He was the wife of Rosalina V. (DeAndrade). Born and educated in Cape Verde, Mr. DeAndrade lived in Brockton for 15 years before moving to Stoughton 3 years ago. He was a businessman in Cape Verde for many years before retiring 15 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Mr. DeAndrade is survived by his children, Maddie Andrade of Senegal, Rita Fortes and Marlice DeAndrade both of Stoughton, Gabriel Andrade and Audina DeAndrade both of Brockton, Carlos Andrade and Lucilda DeAndrade both of Cape Verde, Rosa Petrillo and Francisco DeAndrade, Jr. both of Cambridge. He was preceded in death by his children, Francisco “Chico” DeAndrade and Elsa V. DeAndrade. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, April 28 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-9 PM. Burial will take place at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
