Daryl Knibb Carlow, 52, of Danielson Pike in North Scituate, died Tuesday at Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the wife of Gary Carlow.
Born in Springfield, MA, a daughter of Grace (Brooks) Knibb of Johnston and the late Robert Knibb. She lived in North Scituate for 18 years, previously living in Johnston.
She was a graduate of Lincoln School and Skidmore College. An accomplished horsewoman, she was a member of Eastern Saddle Horse Association, United Professional Horseman, American Saddlebred Association, American Hackney Society, and United States Equestrian Federation.
Mrs. Carlow was an employee of David’s Bridal in Warwick. She had also worked at Bath & Body Works in Smithfield. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her brother, Robert Knibb of Washington, DC and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 11am in North Scituate Baptist Church,619 West Greenville Road, North Scituate. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
