New Bedford - John “Sonny” Carter, Jr. 70, of N. Dartmouth passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Marsha A. (Sullivan) Carter.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late John and Alice (Moskal) Carter, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. Mr. Carter was the owner / operator of Carter Brother’s Incorporated.
Including his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters: Cheryl A. Costa of Fairhaven, Nancy A. Carter of Dartmouth and Ellen Rymszewicz of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Friends Cemetery, Dartmouth.
