D. Dorothy Gorin of Chelsea died on April 23, 2007. She was 90 years old.
Born in Chelsea, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Gordon) Gorin. She attended the Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School before attending beauty school. Dorothy was a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service in Boston and Andover. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Andover on December 29, 1980.
Dorothy was the dear sister of Jean Gorin Bloom and the late Ruth Prolman, Mollie Silver, Paul, Hyman, and Harry Gorin. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Torf Funeral Service Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue (Cary Sq.) CHELSEA on Thursday, April 26th at 10:00 AM. Rabbi Alan Turetz will officiate. Burial will follow in the Farband Cemetery in Danvers.
