Gertrude L. (Bergeron) Diette of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away April 20th, 2007 at the Stevens-Bennett Home for Ladies. She was 90 years old.
She leaves her sister Gerry Patti, her daughters: Jaye Laudani of North Andover, Cathy LoPiano of Salem, N.H., six grand children, four great grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
The wife of the late George Diette, Gertrude was a life long resident of the City of Lawrence.
She was an avid reader and a nurse for 35 years at Tewksbury Hospital. Her love of nursing and taking care of the sick was her passion in life besides her two daughters and grand children.
Spending time with her grand children and great grand children is what she enjoyed the most.
Gertrude will be deeply missed by all that knew and were touched by her.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 26th, 2007 at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. At 9:00AM. A burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
