Virginia M. (Mitchell) Crouse of Dedham, died April 21, 2007 at her home. She was 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter H. Crouse.
Mrs. Crouse was born in Boston and has lived in Dedham for many years. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late James and Ella (McCarthy) Mitchell.
She was the mother of Walter J. Crouse and his partner Ruth Gifford of Westwood. Grandmother of Michael W. Crouse and his wife Meredith of Franklin and Jennifer Crouse of Oakland, CA. Great grandmother of Colin and Nathan Crouse. Sister of Robert Mitchell and his wife Ann of Dedham and the late Laurence Mitchell, James Mitchell, Charlotte Mitchell and Dorothy Mitchell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Tuesday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
