Stanley C. Morton, 82, of Dedham, died April 20, 2007 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (McWilliams) Morton.
Mr. Morton was born in Holbrook and was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Potter) Morton. A World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, he was a life member of the Dedham VFW and worked as a Machinist.
He was the father of Stanley Morton Jr. of Waltham, Michael Morton and his wife Sharon of Malden and Marjorie Morton of Norwood. Stepfather of Daniel Sullivan of Dedham. Grandfather of Jessica, Rhiannon and Desiree. Brother of Sylvia Barrett of Norwood, Eva Brown of Canada, Philip Morton of TX, Esther Castano of NY and the late Anna Morton, Carol Brochu and Nellie Lyons.
Funeral service in the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Stanley’s memory to the charity of your choice.
