Mrs. Lucy F. Masotta, age 88, a life long resident of Woburn died April 20th at the Woburn Nursing Center following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of John A. Masotta. Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Florence (Battina) Cirone.
Mrs. Masotta was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed time spent with her family. Over the years despite any illness she would never miss a family function or special event and she always looked forward to attending the family Christmas Party. Mrs. Masotta was a member of the South End Italian Club. Some of her hobbies throughout the years were bowling and sewing.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her children Phyllis Santullo of Burlington, Joan Devereaux and her husband William of Burlington, John Masotta and his wife Rita, Diane Quigley and her husband Tom, Linda Scott and her husband Greg, all of Woburn. She is also survived by 19 Loving Grandchildren and 36 Loving great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Albert Cirone and sisters Mary Gangi and Rose Buonarosa all of Woburn. She is predeceased by her sisters Josephine MacDonnell and Elvira Cirone, brothers Emelio, Frank and Daniel Cirone.
Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
