WEBSTER – Adrienne C. (Blouin) Strzelewicz, 87, died Thursday, April 19, in Lanessa Extended Care Facility. Her former husband, Bruno Strzelewicz, died in 1985.
She leaves a son, Robert Strzelewicz and his wife Valerie of Dudley; 2 brothers, Roland and Richard Blouin, both of Webster; 4 sisters, Irene Mickiewicz and Lucille LaPlante, both of Webster, Geraldine Grenier of N. Grosvenordale, CT and Rita Strzelewicz of Oxford; 2 granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Her son, Arthur J. Strzelewicz of Webster, died in 1966.
She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of Emile and Yvonne (Fournier) Blouin. She lived in Spencer for 20 years before returning here in 2000. She graduated from the commercial course at St. Anne’s School.
Mrs. Strzelewicz was a stitcher at local shoe factories, including Sandlerette. She then was a clerk at the Little Red Shoe House for 10 years, retiring in 1982. While in Spencer, she attended the former Saint Mary’s Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 28, at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley. Entombment will be in the columbarium at St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster.
