Barbara M. (Galanti) Hurley of Dedham died April 18, 2007. She was 74. She was the beloved wife of the late William P. Hurley.
Mrs. Hurley was born in Norwood and was the daughter of the late Washington and Sadie (Hogan) Hurley. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was a graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1951 and Newton Wellesley Hospital, School of Nursing, Class of 1954.
She was the loving mother of Jeanne Nervi and her husband Michael of Weymouth, Janice Jackson and her husband Robert of Berkeley, Joan Ricciardelli and her husband Gerald of Norfolk, Jane Centauro and her husband Paul of Mendon, and Joyce Shaughnessy and her husband Brian or Woburn. She was the grandmother of Marc, Jared, Jake, Michael, Jonathan, Paul, Nicholas, Niko, Brian and Kerry. She was the sister of Elaine Parker of Port Orange FL.
Funeral from the George F Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Sat. at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine's Church, Norwood at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment, Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
