Nancy Ann Vaughn Franczek, 90, of Jacksonville, Florida, died Saturday, April 14.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, April 20 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with Rev. Steve Waldorf officiating.
Mrs. Franczek was born July 24, 1917, in Eastman, to the late Troy Moses and Mamie Matilda McDaniel Vaughn. She lived in Jacksonville since 1935, where she worked at the Naval Air Station, Old Riverside Hospital and once owned a beauty shop. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra N. Franczek and Patricia F. McRorie, both of Jacksonville, FL and Dixie Lee Gilbert of Grand Junction, CO; brother, Troy Vaughn of Fitzgerald; sisters, Lucille Brooks of Jacksonville, FL and Mildred Hobby of Fitzgerald; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Barton Franczek, a son, James B. Franczek and several brothers and sisters.
