MONZIONE- Of Chelsea, April 17th, Wanda (Witkowski). Beloved wife of the late Michael Monzione. Devoted mother of Richard Murtagh of Nashua, New Hampshire, Patricia Miggins of Brockton, Carol Ann Johnson of Saugus, Marie Monzione-Lloyd of Chelsea and the late Paul Murtagh. Mother-in-law of Donna Murtagh. Sister of the late Stanley Witkowski and Helen Kupriene. Also lovingly survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday morning, April 20th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
At 92 years of age, Wanda passed away at the Whidden memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Cambridge and a resident of Chelsea for most of her life she formerly worked for Market Forge as a machinist. She also had the honor of being the first and longest resident of the Margolis Building.
