Paul J. Donahue, a resident of Salem and longtime resident of Winthrop, died on Sunday April 15, 2007 at Salem Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 51 years old.
Paul was born in Boston on January 16, 1956. He grew up in Winthrop and attended Winthrop Public Schools and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1974. Paul was varsity captain of Winthrop High School baseball team in 1974. He worked for several years as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines.
Paul is the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Dandeneau) Donahue. He is the devoted son of retired Boston Police Officer Robert J. Donahue and the late Anne L. (Carr) Donahue. He is the loving brother of Linda Donahue, Robert Donahue, Thomas Donahue and his wife Diane, Ann Barker, Sean Donahue and his wife Tina, Carol Benson and her husband Harry, Maureen Del Solio and her husband John and Mary Page and her husband Chris. Paul is also the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Paul's request was to be cremated and have his cremains buried with his mother at Winthrop Cemetery. All Funeral Services will be strictly private.
