Donahue of Brockton and North Easton, April 16, 2007, Henry E. Donahue, 80 years. Husband of the late Madeleine L. (Nadeau) Donahue. Father of Mark and his wife Eileen of Sharon, Michael of Brockton, Brian and his wife Marina of Brockton, Stephen and his wife Shirley of S. Easton, Alida Nally and her husband James of Glenview, IL, Christopher and his wife LaDeana of E. Bridgewater Colin and his wife Carol of Marshfield and Gary and his wife Nancy of N. Easton. Son of Irvena (Raymond) Sullivan of Berkley, MA. Also survived by 21 grandchildren.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 10am. Burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Henry E. Donahue Veteran and local businessman.

Mr. Donahue the beloved husband of nearly fifty years of the late Madeleine L. (Nadeau) Donahue died on April 16th at the age of 80 years. Together with his wife they raised their family of eight children in Brockton where Mr. Donahue started and pursued his lifetime interest in business and real estate. As a young man Mr. Donahue volunteered and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the U.S.S. Rankin in the Pacific Theatre during Word War II. He met Miss Nadeau shortly after returning to Brockton from his time in the Navy and they were married on November 11, 1951. After their marriage, Mr. Donahue worked for many years as a civilian employee of the U.S. Navy at the Boston Naval Shipyard. He retired from Federal service with the closing of the Naval Shipyard and began to pursue full time his passion for real estate. He opened his own business in 1978 selling and building residential real estate. Later he worked with his sons in commercial real estate brokerage. Mr. and Mrs. Donahue moved to North Easton in 1989 and were members of Immaculate Conception Parish in North Easton. Mr. Donahue was also a daily communicant at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Brockton where he served as an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist. With his friends from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, he regularly brought communion and fellowship to the patients of the Braemoor nursing home in Brockton. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Irvena Sullivan of Berkley, his sisters Rhoda Brady of Brockton, Shirley DeSisto of Attleboro, Margaret Adams of Cape Cod, Brenda Springer of Berkley and his brother Joseph Sullivan, Jr. of Cape Cod. He is also survived by his children; Mark and his wife Eileen of Sharon, Michael of Brockton, Brian and his wife Marina of Brockton, Stephen and his wife Shirley of S. Easton, Alida and her husband James Nally of Glenview, IL., Christopher and his wife LaDeana of East Bridgewater, Colin and his wife Carol of Marshfield and Gary and his wife Nancy of North Easton. Mr. Donahue held a special place in his heart for each of his twenty one grandchildren; Noelle, Taylesse, Sean, Mathew, Kathryn, Betsy, Andrew, Allison, Nicole, Patrick, Michael, Mark, Lauren, Caitlin, Mary and Susan Donahue, Meghan, Thomas and Patrick Nally and William and Peter Maginnis.
