Newport, RI - Mabel E. (Carter) Davoll, 87, of Valley Rd., Middletown, RI passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at Newport Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Richard V. Davoll.
Born in Little Compton, RI, she had lived in Little Compton for most of her life prior to moving to Middletown. Mrs. Davoll was a graduate of J.F. Wilbur School, Little Compton.
She is survived by a son: Richard V. Davoll, Jr. of Maynard, MA; 2 daughters: Carole D. Flores of Little Compton and Shirley Blades-Hreschak of Palm Bay, FL; 2 brothers: Ralph Carter of Middletown, RI and Albert Almy of Tiverton; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late George A. Davoll III and sister of the late Janet Pennington, Louise S. Wilber, Earl Carter, Evelyn Anderson and Milton Almy.
