DRACUT - Ted Terzilio B. Fantini, 52, a resident of Dracut, and former Tewksbury resident, died unexpectedly Thursday April 12th in Florida. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Elizabeth "Betty" D. (LeDuc) Fantini.
He was born in Lowell on August 15, 1954, and was a son of the late Terzilio O. and Susan D. (Frediani) Fantini. He received his education in Tewksbury schools and was a graduate of Tewksbury High School.
Mr. Fantini was a well known and respected businessman and was the founder and owner of Fantini Construction in Dracut.
In his free time he enjoyed playing golf, boating, and riding his Harley. He also played sports throughout his life.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his seven children Savannah Fantini, Louie Fantini, Eric Fantini, Ted O'Brien, Elisa O'Brien, Rachael O'Brien, and Johnathan Lightbown; his brother and sister-in-law Frank and Lisa (Natale) Fantini of Lawrence; his sister and brother-in-law Dorothea (Fantini) and Roger Patenaude of Dracut; his mother-in-law Florence LeDuc of Lowell; three brothers-in-law, Raymond LeDuc and his wife Karen, John LeDuc and his wife Vanessa, and David LeDuc, all of Lowell; four sisters-in-law Sisaltina LeDuc and her companion Charles McCullough, Diane Morales, and Bridgette Mancuso, all of Lowell, and Karen Candelo of Tampa, FL; two God sons Ted Patenaude of Dracut and Jaiden Hunter LeDuc of Lowell; and several nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was also the son-in-law of the late Andrew LeDuc and the brother-in-law of the late Cynthia LeDuc.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 4 until 8pm. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 7:45am followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9am at St. Francis Church in Dracut.
