Mr. John J. “Jack” Martellucci, a lifelong resident of Andover, died at the Lowell General Hospital in Lowell on April 15, 2007, following a lengthy illness. He was 54 years old.
Mr. Martellucci was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on March 4, 1953, a son of Salvatore P. Martellucci of New Durham, New Hampshire and the late Maude M. (Mulcahy) Martellucci. He was a graduate of Andover High School and owned and operated Pine Grove Tree and Landscaping in Andover for more than 30 years. Mr. Martellucci loved his motorcycles and enjoyed traveling. Above all, he was a real family person.
Mr. Martellucci will be sorely missed by two beloved daughters and one son-in-law; Kara L. and her husband Jorge A. Espinosa of Andover and Jenna M. Martellucci of Chelmsford, one son; Joseph J. Martellucci of Andover, one sister; Jill Martellucci of Billerica, one brother; Jarrod L. W. Martellucci of Lawrence and three nephews; Joshua, Braydon and Cody.
An outside memorial service was held at the Chapel at the West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover, on Thursday, April 19, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friend respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, April 18, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was private. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
