Kyle B. Brito, 19, of Onset died April 14, 2007 unexpectedly at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Born in Wareham, the son of Cecelia (Andrade) Brito of Onset and the late John B. Brito, he lived in Onset all of his life.
Kyle was in his freshman year as a pre-med student at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
He enjoyed soccer, volleyball and was never without music.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, John B. Brito of Onset; 4 aunts, Adriann Brito, Dorothy Lopes, Constance Figerido and Jeanette Almeida, all of New Bedford; 5 uncles, Mario Brito of Virginia Beach, VA, Kevin Brito of Bridgewater, Wayne Andrade of Taunton, Nicholas Andrade of Onset and Michael Andrade of New Bedford; his paternal grandparents, Bras and Julia (Almeida) Brito of New Bedford; and numerous cousins.
He was the grandson of the late Roy and Mary (Lopes) Andrade and step-son of the late Robert F. Gomes.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Thursday, April 19th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 18th from 4-8 PM.
