Edith T. (Zorn) Sammon, age 81 of Medford, died Saturday in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford after a brief illness.Mrs. Sammon was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Edith (Davis) Zorn.
She was a Homemaker and a Medford resident for the past 60 years.Edith was a World War II US Army AirCorp veteran.
She is survived by her late husband Joseph F. Sammon Jr., her sons Joseph F. Sammon III of Medford, Don Sammon of East Boston, Kenneth Sammon of Melrose, William Sammon of NH, and Linda Stanley of Billerica. Also survived by Nine loving grandchildren and four loving great grandchildren. Sister of the late Charles Zorn.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday morning 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
