
Albina L. Holbrook, 80,
former Whitman resident.
Albina (Ally) L. (Rinkus) Holbrook of East Bridgewater, formerly of Whitman, died Monday in Brockton Hospital under the care of hospice. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Holbrook. Along with her late husband, they owned Hanson Linoleum and Tile Co. in Whitman for many years.
After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn D’Arpino and her husband, John of Brockton and her son David Holbrook and his wife, Kathleeen of East Bridgewater.
Devoted grandmother of Lisa Niccoli of West Bridgewater and Stephen D’Arpino of Norton and Brian, Brendon and Jordan Holbrook of East Bridgewater. Great grandmother of four.
She is also survived by 2 sisters, Stephanie Berry and Bertha Todaro, both of Brockton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Alexander Rinkus and sister Nellie Dubeski.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday April 19th. Family and friends are invited for visiting hours Wednesday April 18th from 4:00-8:00 P.M., in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman.
