WEBSTER – Mary B. (Szkutak) Hulboj, 92, of 353 School Street, died Sunday, April 15, in Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Her husband of 38 years, Stanley J. Hulboj, died in 1996.
She leaves a sister, Emily M. Misiaszek of Dudley; nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Albert, Theodore, Anthony, Walter and Edward and by her sister Josephine Yurick.
She was born in Dudley, a daughter of Joseph M. and Bronislawa (Czapiga) Szkutak. She lived in Poland for 5 years as a child, and then returned to Dudley. She moved to Webster in 1958 when she married.
Mrs. Hulboj first worked as a winder at Stevens Linen Associates in Dudley for 12 years, and then as a lens inspector at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 35 years, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and the American Optical Quarter Century Club.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 18, in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
