OBITUARY AND PICTURE FOR MR. JEREMIAH J. SULLIVAN, JR.



Mr. Jeremiah J. Sullivan, Jr., 82, a resident of Lawrence, MA., passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

Born in Lawrence, Mr. Sullivan was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a 1943 graduate of Lawrence High School. Mr. Sullivan had worked for the Railroad and then went to work for Sanders in Nashua, N.H. He retired 18 years ago after working at Brooks School in North Andover, MA. Mr. Sullivan had served in the United States Army during World War II where he attained the rank of Technical Sergeant. He was a member of the 463rd Bombardment Squadron and attended the groups reunion every year.
Mr. Sullivan enjoyed his summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Members of Mr. Sullivan's family include:
his son: Robert D. Sullivan and his wife Sharman of Lawrence with whom he made his residence.
2 grandchildren: Mary Beth and Daniel Sullivan
2 brothers: Herbert Sullivan of New York and Richard Sullivan of California
2 sisters: Helen Volk of Bow, NH, and Louise Love of Derry, NH.
as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sullivan is also survived by 2 lifelong friends: Donald and Helene Scott of North Andover, MA.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery, also in Lawrence. Family and friends may call prior to the service on Wednesday from 10 to 12 at the Funeral Home.
