Ronald O. McKay, 62, of Dartmouth died April 14, 2007 unexpectedly at home.
He was the husband of Susan R. (Gollis) McKay.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Alfred J. and Zelda E. (Durant) McKay, he lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth all of his life.
Mr. McKay was employed as a sales representative with NATCO for 44 years.
He was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Jeffrey McKay of Warwick, RI and Matthew McKay of New Bedford; 4 daughters, Diana Anderson of Colorado, Maureen Bowen of Rochester, Kellie Henriques of New Bedford and Tara McKay of Stoneham; a step-son, Larry Abrams of Pennsylvania; 2 step-daughters, Elizabeth Ehrenberg of Sharon and Pamela Burnham of Mansfield; a sister, Carol Tavares, and her husband Edmund, of Dartmouth; his mother-in-law, Shirley Gollis of New Bedford; 14 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Thursday, April 19th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 18th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice.
