Obituary

William A. Marciano passed away on April 13, 2007. He was 80 years old.

Born in East Boston, William was a long-time resident of Stoneham. He was a union bricklayer and tile setter for many years with the Local 3 Allied Craftsmans in Dorchester. William was also a late member of the Malden Moose where he was twice installed as governor and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.

William was the devoted husband of Julie (Trigilio) Marciano, his wife of 27 years. He was the beloved father of Kathryn Marciano-Finegan of Medford, William S. Marciano and his wife Paula of North Attleboro and Robert J. Marciano and his wife Lucille of Saugus and the step-father of Paul F. Bondi of Ipswich, Robert A. Bondi and his wife Gretchen of Eastham and the late Donna L. Kenney. He was the dear brother of the late Richard Marciano. William is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 2 step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, April 17th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Monday, April 16th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
