Methuen, Ma – Kevin J. Caron, Sr. died Friday April 13, 2007 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lawrence to Muriel (Poulin) Caron and the late Joseph Caron, Kevin was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Technical and Vocational Regional High School’s culinary arts program and was a lifelong resident of Methuen.
For almost 30 years he had been employed as a shipping manager at Raytheon of both Andover, and most recently, Tewksbury. He also belonged to the union there.
Kevin’s greatest joy was his 5 grandchildren and proudly attended all their events. “Papa” was an avid bass fisherman who enjoyed movies, music, driving his mini cooper, gardening, crafts, fly tying, and his dog, “Pappy.”
Mr. Caron is survived by daughters Christine M. Lemieux & husband Albert of Lowell, and Renee Caron of Methuen, one son Kevin J. Caron, Jr. also of Methuen, his mother Muriel S. (Poulin) Caron of Methuen, and 5 grandchildren Sarah, Meghan, Joshua, Elijah, and James Lemieux.
He was predeceased by his brother Paul and father Joseph Caron.
A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/ St. Theresa Church 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen.
