Auburn - Elizabeth (Croteau) Hicks, 78, of 25 Windbrook Ave. died Sunday, November 10 at home after an illness.
She leaves her former husband Charles R. Hicks of Paxton; a son Charles R. Hicks Jr. of Jefferson; two daughters Sharon Hicks of Auburn with whom she lived and Anne Lang of Winchenton; a brother Albert "Coke" Croteau of Oxford; two sisters Helen Laprade of Auburn and Jean Niichter of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters Dorothy Raymond of Worcester and Ann Roach of Holden. She was born in Worcester daughter of Albert and Agda (Hallberg) Croteau and lived in Auburn most of her life.
She was a Home Health Care Nurse for many years, retiring 5 years ago.
Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, November 12 from 5 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street, Worcester. Entombent will be held at a later date in Notre Dame Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Network Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
