Constantino “Butch” Cellere 86, formerly of Privilege St. and most recently of Clearwater FL, died March 24 in the Sunset Point Nursing Home in Clearwater. He was the husband of Therese Beaudoin. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Luigi and Marianna (Bianca) Cellere. Mr. Cellere was a machinist for twenty years for the Foxboro Co. retiring in 1982.
Mr. Cellere was an Army WWII veteran, a member of the VFW in Forestdale and the St. Joseph’s SR. Citizens Group.
Mr. Cellere is survived by a son Michael Cellere of Lincoln, and two daughters, Constance H. O’Connor of Clearwater, and Linda L. Curis of North Smithfield, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a brother Augustin “Gus” Cellere of Stoneham MA, and a sister Victoria “Toy” Cellere also of Stoneham. He was also the brother of the late Nicholas Cellere, Elizabeth Speranza, and Mary Gaudini.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a service in the funeral home at 10:00. Burial will be follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
