Obituary


Worcester/Northboro—Gladys S. (Budelman) Walker, 90, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in the Lutheran Home. Her husband, Stanley G. Walker, died in 1994. She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of George and Ottilie (Noll) Budelman. She leaves her five children, Linda W. McLinden of Worcester, Katherine N. Mongeon and her husband, Thomas, of Princeton, Stanley G. Walker, Jr., and his wife, Mary, of Loudenville, NY, Daniel A. Walker of Stow, and Jeffrey G. Walker and his wife, Sandy, of Stow; and three grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah, & Kathryn. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Budelman. Gladys was active in her community and her church, First Parish Church Unitarian Universalist of Northboro. She lived most of her married life in Northboro before moving to Worcester in 1978.

Following a private burial, a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at First Parish Church, 40 Church Street, Northboro followed by a Celebration of Life in the Parish Hall. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Handicap Accessibility Fund of the Church or the Lutheran Home Activities Fund, 26 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
