
SALEM - Frances R. (Berry) Goodhue, 83, of Salem, wife of the late Frank A. Goodhue, died Saturday night, April 7, 2007 in a local nursing home.
Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late William H. & Ruth E. (Peabody) Berry and was a graduate of Beverly High School.
A resident of Beverly until moving to Salem in 1947, Mrs. Goodhue was active in Girl Scouting since the age of 11, and was President of Camp Naumkeag in Salem. An active member of the Grace Church in Salem, she served on the Alter Guild and was a member of the Vestry.
She is survived by one son, Frank A. Goodhue, Jr. of Agora Hills, CA, one daughter, Ruth Ann Goodhue of Salem, one brother, William Berry of Beverly and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Edith Estes.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11 am at the Grace Church in Salem, to which relatives and friends are respectfully invited. There are no visiting hours. The Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, is assisting with the arrangements.
