Obituary


Stanley W. Squiers 84 of Marlboro formerly of Medway died suddenly April 9 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
He was the husband of the late Corrine A. (VanDuzen) Squiers who died in 2004.
Born in Newton September 6, 1922 the son of the late Vincent and Edna (Foss) Squiers had lived in Medway for many years before moving to Marlboro last year.
Mr. Squiers had been a finish carpenter for many years.
He served in the Navy during World War II as a pilot and attained the rank of Lt.JG.
Mr.Squiers was a standing member of the Mendon Community Church.
He is survived by a son Peter Squiers of Chatham, 2 daughters Wendy Eichelberger and her husband William of Mebane N.C., Betsy Squiers (Davis) Wittmann of Rochester NH, His stepchildren Sandy Trufant , Robert Bauer, Gayann Wilkinson and David Bauer.
He is also survived by his sister Marilyn Bame of Paramus N.J. And his grandchildren Zachary and Lianne Squiers ,Carolyn Davis and Kathryn Davis Joy.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber St. Medway.
