WORCESTER


Richard A. Goodhue, 80, of Worcester died Sun. April 8. His wife Florence S. (Bosse) Goodhue did in 1969. He leaves a brother, Romaine “Roy” and his wife, Leah Goodhue of West Melbourne, FL; two nephews, Michael Goodhue and William Goodhue and two nieces, Kimberly Kirkman and Janice Goodhue. A brother, William Goodhue, Sr. died in 2005. He was born in Worcester, son of Donald and Eileen (Solmonson) Goodhue and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.

Richard was a construction supervisor for the City of Worcester for 23 years, before retiring. He was a member of the Quinsigamond American Legion Post #318, the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #4 and the Veterans of Foreign War, South Works Post #3657.

A Funeral Service will be held Fri., April 13 at 1 PM in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Burial will be in All Faith Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held from Noon until 1PM at the funeral home.
