Obituary

Hebron, MD- Lorenzo J. Lozier, 82, of Hebron, MD, formerly of Whitman, MA, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD, from respiratory failure. He was the husband of Theresa Lozier.

Born Nov. 9, 1924, in Fort Kent, ME, he was the son of the late Honore J. and Roseanna (Daigle) Lozier.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II, stationed on the USS Iowa.

Mr. Lozier was a member of American Legion Post 22 and VFW Post 697.

He was the owner and proprietor of Larry’s Launderette in Whitman from 1959 to 1979, after which he retired to Clearwater, FL, where he lived until March of 2006, moving to Hebron, MD.

He was the husband of Theresa; father of Claire Lozier-Smith and her husband Andrew of Sante Fe, NM, Lisa Lozier-Phillips and her husband Louis of Delmar, MD, and Roland Lozier and his wife Marcia of Maplewood, MN; grandfather of Lacey, Arielle, Holly, JR, Zachary, Austin and Justin; brother of Lillian Vanbuskirk of Plymouth, Anne Lombardo of Largo, FL, Yvette Dube of Virginia Beach, VA, Hilda Poe Sepp of Bridgewater, Normand Lozier of Brockton, Henry Lozier of Coventry, RI, Eugene Lozier of Hartford, CT, and the late Rosaire, Omar and Howard Lozier and Cora Nadeau. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, Saturday at 9 am. Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Arrangements by the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater.
