SPENCER: Anthony J. Banach, III, 59 of 136 Main St., died Saturday,
April 7 at the Meadows of Leicester.
He leaves two sons Anthony J. Banach, IV of Venice, Fl., and Edward J.
Banach of Spencer, three daughters Laura J. Heath of Worcester, Celeste T.
Campbell of Ware and Barbara J. Miller of N.Brookfield, three brothers Tim
Banach of Nakomis, Fla., Glenn Banach of Montezuma, Ks., and Michael Chesna
of Millbury, four sisters Katherine Wilczyski of Sutton, Susan Banach of
Millbury, Doloris Sargent of Danville, N.H. and Roseann Banach of Waltham,
11 grand children, nieces and nephews. A brother Daniel Banach died in 2006.
He was a former member of the Teamsters Union, Local 170-Worcester. He
served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Banach was a self employed general contractor for many years, retiring
due to illness in 2000. Previously he was a truckdriver for C & S Wholesale
Grocers for 11 years.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Anthony J. and Sabina M. (O'Rourke)
Banach,Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at 1p.m. in the
J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. There are no
