Emeline “Janet” Munroe, 71, a lifelong resident of Winchester, died at Lahey Clinic on April 9th, following a brief illness. Born in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Roderick and Emeline A. (Delaney) Munroe.
She was the dear sister of David Munroe of Winchester and the late Roderick Monroe. Janet also leaves behind four nieces, three nephews and many grand-nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home 177 Washington St. Winchester on Thursday, April 12 at 8:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Winchester at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours are 8:30-9:30AM on Thursday (one hour prior the Mass). Interment Calvary Cemetery, Winchester/Woburn line.
