William Rapoza. Age 86. Husband of Diamantina “Diane” (Santos) Rapoza. They had been married for 66 years.
Residence 137 Wellesley Dr., Somerset, MA. Died Sunday at home. Born in Fall River, MA. Son of the late Philip Rapoza and the late Agnes Rapoza. He was a Somerset resident since 1955. Before retiring, he was an Inventory Controller at Dover Stamping. He was a disabled U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. He took part in the invasion of France. He was a member of St. Thomas More Church.
Besides his wife of Somerset, he is survived by One Daughter: Judith Ann Wax of Maryland. One Sister: Evelyn Cabeceiras of Fall River, MA. One Grandson and One Granddaughter: Aaron Louis Wax and Jody Sayre. Several nieces and nephews and Several Great nieces and Great nephews. He was also brother of the late Philip, Frank, David and Joseph Rapoza, Mae Dias and Maize Lewis.
Calling hours Tuesday 4-6 P.M. with services during the wake at 5 P.M.
