Mrs. Ann M. (Hines) D’Amelio 67, of Franklin, died Saturday April 7, 2007 upon arrival at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Raymond A. D’Amelio.
Born in Boston, December 23, 1939 a daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary E. (Quinn) Hines, she was raised and educated in Boston and had been a resident of Franklin for 33 years.
Mrs. D’Amelio worked as a teacher’s aid in the Franklin public school system. Her last assignment was at the Anne E. Sullivan Middle School. She previously worked as a secretary for the former Jackson & Moreland Engineering Company of Boston.
Mrs. D’Amelio was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin and was devoted to her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 34 years is a son Daniel J. D’Amerio and his wife Kristin of Franklin, a daughter Doreen A. D’Amelio of Franklin, 2 brothers Edward A. Hines of Marshfield Hills, MA and John J. Hines of Walpole, a sister Kathleen Hines of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and her granddaughter Regan Anne Harland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday April 12th, 2007 at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 9AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
