James L. (Jimmy) Carter Jr., 33, died Monday April 2, 2007, in Tacoma, Washington.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, April 14, 2007, in the Frank Church Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia
Jimmy was born in Fitzgerald, July 28, 1973 to Debbie Handley Pollard and James L. Carter Sr. He had lived Washington State, since 1984, he grew up and attended school in Fitzgerald and Tifton and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include Mother and step-father: Debbie Handley Pollard and Tom Pollard of Puyallup Washington; Father: Jim Carter of Fitzgerald; Brother: Jason Carter of Puyallup, Washington; Step-sister: Robbi Howell of Dallas, GA; Grandmother: Betty Handley of Fitzgerald; Step Grandmother: Lydia Pollard of Puyallup, Washington, also several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his Grandfathers: Rev. Delmar Handley and Edward Carter and Grandmother: Ann Carter.
