Auburn- Dolores T. (Soucy) Lessard, 76, of 10 Pakachoag, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Hospice Residence, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband of 28 years, Ernest A. Lessard died in 2000. She leaves two sons, Casey J. Polaski and Wayne J. Polaski, both of Worcester; her mother, Alice R. (Robarge) Soucy of Worcester; four brothers, William L Soucy Jr. of Oxford, Gerald W. Soucy of Auburn, Robert D. Soucy of Worcester, and Leon R. Soucy of Auburn and Florida; three sisters, Florianne Shevchuk of Worcester, Monica A. Sabolinski of Rhode Island, and Joan M. Heims of California; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William L. Soucy and lived in Worcester most of her life before moving here.
Mrs. Lessard was a photo developer at Marvin Richmonds before retiring. She previously worked at Brown Shoe Company.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Parish.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com), 298 Grafton Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in the funeral home.
