CHARLTON-Hazel M. (Kimball) Lantz, 80, of 88 Masonic Home and formerly of South Dartmouth, Hyannis and Auburn died Wednesday, November 6 in the Masonic Home.
She leaves two sons, Raymond C. Lantz, Jr. of Rochester and Ronald W. Lantz of Charlton; a daughter, Sandra K. Munger of Auburn; a brother, Harold A. Kimball and his wife, Lois of Sterling, MA; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Frank W. and Myrtle (Sampson) Kimball and lived in Auburn for many years before moving to Hyannis. She moved to South Dartmouth in 1986 and lived there before returning to the Auburn/Charlton area in 2001. She graduated from Auburn High School.
Mrs. Lantz was a bookkeeper for the Lewis Bay Convalescent Home in Hyannis before she retired. Previously, she had worked for the Wyman-Gordon Company and the U.S. Envelope Company, both in Worcester.
She was a member of the Hope Evangelical Church in Dartmouth. She enjoyed a loving relationship with her children and grandchildren and always wore a smile. She loved gardening, her pets and singing.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 10 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St.(www.brittonfuneralhomes.com) Auburn, MA. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, November 8 from 5-8 PM.
