Father of Melissa Dwyer of Brockton, Deborah and Sarah Dwyer both of Troy. Son of Dorothy (McQuade) Dwyer of Plymouth, MA and the late Walter Dwyer. Brother of Kevin Dwyer of Stoughton, MA and the late Paul Dwyer. Cousin of Frank Scolaro of Abington, MA. Uncle of Shannon DePatie of Worcester, MA. Best friend of Roman Matejczuk and John Gay both of New York. He will be missed by all.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Cremation will follow. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.

John W. “Jack” Dwyer 52 years of Troy, New York died unexpectedly Sunday April 1, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Susanne (McQueen) Dwyer. He was born in Boston a son of Dorothy (McQuade) Dwyer of Plymouth, MA and the late Walter Dwyer. He moved to Brockton as a young boy and was a graduate of Brockton High School. For the past 20 years he had been a resident of Troy, New York.
During the Viet Nam conflict he served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
Mr. Dwyer was a longtime employee of Northeast Land Surveyors in Balston Spa, New York. He enjoyed music, being around his family and summers at the family cottage in Myles Standish State Forest. He loved football and his favorite team was the New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his daughters Melissa Dwyer of Brockton, Deborah and Sarah Dwyer both of Troy, NY; a brother Kevin Dwyer of Stoughton, MA; a cousin of Frank Scolaro of Abington, MA and a niece Shannon DePatie of Worcester, MA. He was the best friend of Roman Matejczuk and John Gay both of New York. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Paul Dwyer.
