Worcester—Ivar F. T. Lundberg, 91, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at the Overlook in Charlton. He leaves his beloved wife, Jane C. (Gosk) Lundberg; a daughter Joan D. LaBonte and her husband Ronald of Worcester; two sons, Robert S. Lundberg and his wife Rita of Charlton and Kenneth P. Lundberg and his wife Margaret of Worcester; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. A brother, Roy, was killed in action during WWII. He was born in Worcester, son of Ivar and Freidaborg (Ullstrom) Lundberg. Ivar was a WWII Navy veteran, an avid golfer, bowler and billiard player. He was a member of Greenhill Municipal Golf Club, the VFW Post in West Boylston and long-time member of North Worcester Fox and Coon Club in Holden, of which his father was one of the original founders. Ivar and his wife Jane celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in August of 2006. The Anniversary celebration was held lakeside at Indian Lake with every member of their immediate family present except for their grandson, Captain Robert Lundberg, who is serving in Iraq.
