Roberta (Jauer) Wilson, 79 of Derry, NH died Sunday April 1, 2007 at her home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Wilson was born in Karnes City, TX on August 14, 1927 a daughter of the late, William A. and Emma (Goetz) Jauer. She was raised and educated in Robstown, TX and later moved to Orlando, FL in 1971. She had lived in Derry for the past four years. She was a member of First Parish Church, E. Derry. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid quilt maker. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her son, Robert Wilson and his wife Karen of Derry, two daughters, Kathleen Saunders and her husband Don of Orlando, Pamela Small and her husband Tom of Londonderry, NH, six grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Joshua, Katie, Jacob and Kevin, four great grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, James and Rachel, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 2004 by her husband, Lt. Col. Woodrow W. Wilson.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 11th at 6 PM in the First Parish Church, 47 East Derry Rd., East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, NH Affiliate, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.
